Our board of directors is a dedicated team of passionate leaders committed to advancing the mission of the Dana Sally Allen Foundation. Founded by the inspiring Dana Sally Allen, our organization is driven by her holistic vision of creating meaningful change through community-focused programs and support services. Each board member brings unique expertise and a shared commitment to uplift, empower, and restore individuals in Richmond and beyond.

Together, they guide the foundation's efforts to fulfill Dana's vision of an inclusive, thriving community where every person is equipped to grow and contribute. With a strong focus on the foundation’s four-phase program and the principles of the Ecological System, our board oversees initiatives that drive positive transformation and enable individuals to build a brighter future.

Jason Cox

Jason is an extremely dedicated and passionate professional and entrepreneur who is currently the Peer Services Program Manager at HYPE Counseling Services and the Owner of Passion & Purpose LLC and a Licensed Peer Recovery Specialist and Certified Supervisor of that credential. He has been working in the Treatment and Recovery field for 6 years now and has worked on many impactful projects within the Richmond and surrounding areas to be of service to his community, such as the Alive RVA (Peer to Peer) Warmline, Project Recover, Operation Workplace Prevention (DEA and Discovery Education), Former Chair of the Treatment and Recovery Committee for Chesterfield Co. SAFE Opioid Task Force, Keynote speaker at the Be Well Virginia: Suicide Prevention Conference and so much more. Jason is also a Master Revive Trainer for the state of Virginia, where he not only teaches others how to use the life-saving Opioid overdose reversal drug Naloxone but also has trained many residents of Va. to become Trainers as well.

Kenneth Harris

CSAC-A, COAPS, CPRS Kenneth is a certified peer recovery specialist for the Alternative Sentencing Project and SUD Unit at Richmond Behavior Health Authority. He is also a former Peer Recovery Coach at SAARA Center. Kenneth also worked as an MH Tech and Med Tech at Rubicon Treatment Center's H.O.P.E. Unit and served as Past President of The Rubicon Alumni Association.

Felicia Johnson

Felicia Johnson is the Senior Editor of LV Magazine and its subsidiary publications, as well as the Vice President of LV Media, a leading multimedia company offering services in book publishing, website design, movie production, and audio production. She holds an Associate's Degree in Business Administration, reflecting her strong foundation in leadership and operational excellence. Felicia is also a commissioned Notary Public in Pennsylvania, a licensed Real Estate Agent, and an ordained minister through the Universal Life Church, bringing her versatile expertise to serve her community in various capacities. Felicia’s dynamic career showcases her passion for creativity, professionalism, and dedication to making a meaningful impact across industries.
